Andrew is the CEO of SEEK Limited and an Executive Director. He co-founded the company in 1997 and has been involved in all stages of the development of the business since then. In particular, Andrew has driven the strategy of the SEEK Group since its inception, and led the creation and development of the international and education businesses.
Prior to co-founding SEEK, Andrew was a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton and, prior to that, he worked as a solicitor at Corrs Chamber Westgarth. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School.
In December 2018 Andrew became President of St Kilda Football Club.
Ian joined SEEK in April 2019 in the dual roles of Group Chief Operating Officer and CEO of Asia Pacific and Americas. In these roles he has executive responsibility for SEEK’s Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Brazil and Mexico businesses, and works in partnership with Andrew Bassat on the strategy for the SEEK Group overall.
Before joining SEEK Ian spent 11 years at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He was CBA’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director from 2011 until 2018. Prior to joining CBA Ian was a partner of McKinsey and Company.
Ian has non-profit board roles in education and the performing arts, and a non-executive board role in an emerging markets fintech company.
Ian holds undergraduate degrees in law and arts from the University of Auckland, and master’s degrees in international law from Cambridge University and New York University.
Geoff has overall responsibility for SEEK's Global Finance operations including Investor Relations, ensuring the necessary operational and financial processes and infrastructure are in place and aligned with SEEK's strategies and continued rapid growth.
Geoff joined SEEK in 2015, with more than 20 years of Finance experience, including as Managing Partner of Deloitte Victoria, and Group CFO of AXA Asia Pacific for seven years.
Geoff holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Geoff was appointed to the Melbourne Cricket Club Committee in March 2019 and was formerly a Director of AMP Limited and Chair of its Audit Committee.
Kathleen is responsible for Human Resources and Corporate Communications across the SEEK Group. The focus of her role is to create an environment for the people at SEEK to achieve the company's growth agenda and build on its unique and highly respected company culture.
In addition to her role as Group Human Resources Director, Kathleen also holds the position of SEEK Asia Pacific and Americas Chief Human Resources Officer.
Kathleen joined SEEK in May 2016, bringing a wealth of experience across the technology, professional services and employment industries. Before joining SEEK, Kathleen worked for IBM in various roles across the Asia Pacific region, most recently as HR Director for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, she held senior HR roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and Robert Walters. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science with a double major in Psychology.
Simon is responsible for the Asia Pacific and Americas operating business’ Strategy, Product and Artificial Intelligence teams. Simon brings to this role his previous experience as Group Strategy Director, and he serves on the board of several of SEEK’s strategic minority investments.
Prior to joining SEEK, Simon worked in strategy roles at Telstra and A.T. Kearney. Simon also has over 10 years’ experience working extensively in online industries in Australia and the UK, including governments and start-ups.
Simon holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Business from Monash University majoring in Marketing.
Ronnie is responsible for driving mergers and acquisitions across the SEEK Group, including negotiations with partners and managing external stakeholders.
Ronnie started at SEEK in 2005 as an analyst in the SEEK ANZ Corporate Strategy Team. He has had several roles in the business since then, being involved in most of SEEK’s transactions and worked closely post-transaction with (but not limited to) Zhaopin, SEEK Asia, Bangladesh and Africa. Ronnie has a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University.
Kendra leads SEEK’s employment and learning businesses across the Australia and New Zealand markets, encompassing SEEK, SEEK Learning and Career Services, SEEK Business, Grad Connection and SEEK Volunteer.
Kendra joined SEEK in 2015 as Marketing Director, and was most recently SEEK’s Chief Commercial Officer.
Prior to SEEK, Kendra held a series of senior marketing and commercial roles within the retail sector, including at Coles in Australia and Tesco in the UK. Kendra commenced her career in strategy as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
Kendra holds a Masters in European Politics from the College of Europe, where she was a Fulbright Scholar. Prior to this, Kendra completed a Bachelor of Economics and Mathematics at Yale University.
